The personal data you provide will be collected, processed and used exclusively for the purpose of participating in the above-mentioned event in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your data will be used for the purpose of processing the participation fee, where applicable. In addition, we will prepare a list of participants including first and last names and, if applicable, the name and location of your institution. This list will be included in the conference materials provided to all participants.
Photo and video recordings will be taken, processed and used for the purpose of reporting on the above-mentioned event. This includes:
- Contributions on the websites www.arl-net.de and www.arl-international.com and in the ARL newsletter
- Publication in print media such as the ARL Journal, activity reports, audit documents, evaluation documents, research concept papers, flyers and brochures, as well as the corresponding online publications.
For this purpose, photographs and video recordings of the event venue or of large groups of participants may be taken without requiring additional consent. If portraits or photos of small groups are taken, this will only occur with the explicit consent of the persons concerned.
In principle, your personal data will not be shared with external third parties. Personal data will only be transmitted to external parties for the purpose of booking your accommodation and for printing the programme in the event flyer. These parties will be engaged as data processors in accordance with Article 28 GDPR and will be contractually bound to comply with data protection regulations.
Your personal data will not be transferred to a third country or an international organisation, and no such transfer is planned.
In accordance with Article 15 GDPR, you have the right to obtain information about the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to request rectification, erasure or, where erasure is not possible, restriction of processing, as well as data portability, in accordance with Articles 16–18 and 20 GDPR. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority at any time. If you believe that the processing of your personal data does not comply with data protection legislation, we kindly ask you to contact our Data Protection Officer first.
