Your contact details are the basic prerequisite for your participation. In accordance with the Data Protection Guidelines, the data will only be used for the purpose of tracing contacts in the event of an infection.

Please also note that you will not be granted access to the event at the ARL Headquarters or to ARL events elsewhere if any of the following symptoms or facts are present

  • respiratory symptoms (cough, rhinitis, sore throat), loss of smell and taste in connection with fever, diarrhoea, the presence of unspecific symptoms of illness
  • officially ordered domestic quarantine
  • Stay/return from a risk area within the last 14 days before the date of the meeting at the ARL Headquarters or at an ARL event
  • Contact with a Covid-19 positive tested person within the last 14 days before the appointment in question

The photo recordings used by you as well as the personal data from the declaration of con-sent are collected, processed and used on the basis of the given consent according to Article 6 Paragraph 1 Subparagraph 1 lit. a) GDPR. The photo recordings are collected, processed and used for the purpose of marketing as listed above. If you do not provide the necessary information, we are unfortunately not able to publish a picture of you. An automatic decision making does not take place. Furthermore, your data will be used in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Subparagraph 1  lit. b) GDPR for the purpose of billing the participation fee, insofar as this is collected. Fur-thermore, we will compile a list of participants based on your given consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Subparagraph 1 lit. a) GDPR, including first and last name and a possible office with location, which will be part of the conference folders for all participants.


Furthermore, you have the right to withdraw your consent for the collection and processing of personal data to the above-mentioned purposes. The duration of the storage of your personal data ends with your express withdrawal.


A transfer of your personal data to a third country or to an international organisation takes place to the extent that the photographs with your images are published in the social media. The servers of social media providers are usually located in a third country. Since there is no decision on appropriateness according to Art. 45 GDPR and no suitable guarantees according to Art. 46 GDPR that secure the transfer to the USA, the transfer can only take place here with your consent. Insofar as you have expressly consented that a transfer of your personal data may take place, the transfer of the data is justified in accordance with Art. 49 Paragraph 1 Subpara-graph 1 lit. a) GDPR. A transmission to a third country or an international organisation of the personal data provided by you, does not take place and is also not in planning. In accordance with Article 15 GDPR you have the right of information about the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you are free to claim your rights to correction, deletion or if deletion is not possi-ble of restriction of the processing and of data portability in accordance with Article 16-18, 20 GDPR.


If you want to take advantage of this right, please refer to our data protection officer. Furthermore, you have the right to complain at any time to the controller supervisory authori-ty. If you have the opinion that the processing of your personal data does not take place in compliance with the data protection laws, we kindly ask you to contact our data protection officer.
